Zaretsky Engineering Solutions Sponsors Senior Holiday Meals

December 14, 2020 - Giving Back to Our Community

In lieu of sending holiday cards, Zaretsky Engineering Solutions annually selects a meaningful gift to our community. We decided to direct our gift this year to an organization that would help those most severely impacted by COVID-19. We asked ourselves, “Who was the most impacted, the most challenged, and the most at risk in our community?” The answer proved fairly easy to ascertain: the isolated senior population in our community. There was a program called “The Great Plates” that provided hot meals to isolated seniors throughout the pandemic; however, funding for that program ran out. So, our friends at Advance OC were asked to step in and help organize a meal program to feed isolated seniors with hot meals for the holidays. Our gift this year is directed to Advance OC specifically to help the elderly in our community. We are proud to be a sponsor of the Holiday Meal Program.
